Norovirus - During the time of Norovirus, there may be restrictions to visiting the wards. Please call ahead before coming to the hospital.

To change or cancel your hospital appointment, you can email the Appointments Team at: appointments@whippsx.nhs.uk or call our switchboard on 020 8539 5522, listen to the welcome message and follow the option for Outpatients.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, or the care we are providing for your relative or friend, please raise the issue with us as soon as possible so that we can address it. For Inpatients, speak to the Senior Sister in charge of the relevant ward, or ask to speak to the Customer Care Manager. For Outpatients, ask to speak to the Outpatients Customer Care Manager. You can also speak to the PALS team on the number below.
Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
The PALS team are available on weekdays during office hours on 020 8535 6767 or via email at: pals@whippsx.nhs.uk
The team can help with most patient enquiries and concerns, including helping you to contact a friend or relative who is in the hospital (you will need the patient’s full name, home address and date of birth for this). Making a formal complaint
If you have raised a concern with us but you are still unhappy with our response, you can make a formal complaint. The PALS team can advise you on how to do this. Our Complaints Team are contactable on 020 8535 6503 during weekday office hours, or email: complaints@whippsx.nhs.uk
